Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 June 2026 · Version 1.0
- Fenix is a personal trading journal — a record-keeping and analytics tool. It is not financial advice and gives no trading signals.
- Use it lawfully, keep your login secure, and don't abuse or attack the service.
- Your trading decisions and their outcomes are your own. We provide the tool "as is".
- You own your data; you can export or delete it at any time.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Fenix ("Fenix", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Fenix trading journal at fen1x.in and related pages (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What Fenix is
Fenix is a private, invite-only tool for recording your trades and reviewing your own performance: logging trades, attaching screenshots, tracking playbook rules, weekly reviews, a position-size calculator, P&L estimates and exports. It is a journaling and analytics utility only.
3. No financial advice
Fenix does not provide investment, financial, tax, legal or trading advice, recommendations or signals. All figures, analytics, calculator outputs and projections are informational, are based on the data you enter, and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions and their outcomes. Trading carries substantial risk of loss. Nothing in the Service is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Always do your own research and consider seeking advice from a licensed professional.
4. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- Access is invite-only; accounts are provisioned for you. You may not share, sell or transfer your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
Access to Fenix is currently invite-only and may require a one-time founding-access fee, which we tell you during onboarding before you pay. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we may change pricing or access terms for new users at any time. Your access continues until you delete your account or we terminate it under these Terms.
5. Acceptable use & user conduct
When using Fenix, you agree that you will not:
- Break any applicable law or regulation, or use the Service for money laundering, market manipulation or other unlawful activity;
- Access another user's account or data, or attempt to bypass authentication, rate-limiting or other security measures;
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt or attack the Service (including DoS/DDoS), or introduce malware;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or use bots to access the Service except as permitted by law;
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that you have no right to upload;
- Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
- Misrepresent your identity or interfere with any other user's use of the Service.
We may investigate and take appropriate action, including removing content and suspending accounts, for any violation.
6. Your content
You retain all ownership of the data and screenshots you put into Fenix ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; the export tools let you do this at any time.
7. Intellectual property
The Service itself — its software, design, branding and the "Fenix" name — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to use the Service, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works of the Service.
8. Availability & changes to the Service
We aim to keep Fenix available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
9. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Privacy & Data in the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability limits, IP) will survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any calculation or analytic is accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fenix and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, revenues, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹5,000 (or its equivalent). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fenix and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts at Chandigarh, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give more prominent notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
